AMERICAN GUILD OF ORGANISTS RECITAL

The North Shore chapter of the American Guild of Organists is hosting the Great Lakes Regional Convention June 25-28, 2023. Headquartered in Evanston, the convention will welcome approximately 150 organists from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky. The attendees will enjoy recitals, workshops, worship services, and concerts in Evanston and in churches all along the north shore.

We are honored to be chosen as one of the venues for a major recital of the convention on our beautiful Pasi organ. The recital will take place on Tuesday afternoon, June 27, at 3:00 pm.

The congregation and public are invited to attend along with the AGO members.

Tickets will be sold at the door for $10.00, cash or credit card are accepted.

Noted American organist, Christa Rakich, will be the recitalist. She holds degrees from Oberlin Conservatory and New England Conservatory, has served on the faculty of both institutions and is currently Visiting Professor of Organ at Oberlin. She has performed in the States and around the world and made numerous recordings on some of the world’s most exciting instruments. Her program will include works by Marchand, Bach, Florence Price, and even one of her own compositions!
