An Opportunity from our Antiracism Ministry

January 17, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The newly formed Antiracist Ministry, in remembrance of Martin Luther King, Jr. this weekend, invites you to participate in an upcoming 2 hour event, sponsored by HEROS, https://heros.community/mlk/, on Sunday afternoon at 2:00, January 17.  HEROS stands for Healing Everyday Racism in Our Schools. The event will feature initial presentations, then breakout rooms. We have tried to sign up for different breakout rooms to be able to report on them later. These are: Affordable Housing, Local Education, Civic Engagement, Hidden Stories – local stories of racism and anti-racism, and Beginning Your Anti-Racism Journey.
