Peace for the Journey: Self-Care While Caring for Your Parents
Are your parents requiring more care? Are you bearing more and more responsibility for their well-being? How are you doing with that?
Caring for parents – while dealing with the rest of life – can be overwhelming. Parents may need more care than they used to – or more care than they are willing to admit. Other family members may be unable or unwilling to help. Feelings of sadness, guilt, helplessness, anger, and exhaustion can arise.
Monica Guilhot-Chartrand, a therapist at SamaraCare Counseling, will facilitate this discussion, helping you find more balance for You as you care for your parents… and for everything else that needs attention.
Invite friends, co-workers, neighbors, and family members – anyone you think could benefit from this conversation.

Impact 75 is our congregation’s response to real-life concerns that our pastors are hearing from church members. This is the first in a series of Vital Conversations About Families.
Do you have a concern that could be addressed in a professionally-resourced 75-minute conversation? Let us know.
