Lenten Prayer Vigil
March 30 @ 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Our congregation sets aside one day in Lent to let go and be present with God, prayerfully reflecting on God’s grace in the cross and empty tomb.
This year, that day is Wednesday, March 30, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Little Chapel (adjacent to the Centennial Room).
You are welcome to come anytime during the day and pray as long as you want. Resources will be available for you to use as you pray, or you can pray in your own way. If you’d like to sign up for a 30-minute slot, you can do so here. It is not necessary to sign up; it is an option for those who would like to do so.
If you are unable to come to the Little Chapel on the 30th, you are invited to take a few minutes during the day wherever you are to open yourself to the presence of God whose love is expressed in Jesus’ self-giving.
The Lenten Prayer Vigil reminds us that we are on the Lenten journey together. We seek the spiritual blessings of the season: insight, calm, courage, commitment, healing, and nearness to God and one another.
Let go and be present.
