Men’s Advent Gathering

Join the men of our church for a gathering to reflect and share what the Advent seasons means to you. This event will be hybrid – in person and on Zoom.
Advent is a good time to pause, reflect, and open up to God’s coming (“advent”) in Christ. For some, this time of year can also be difficult due to recent losses or other reasons. The Gathering includes silence, meditative singing (or just listening!), hearing scripture, and the lighting of the four Advent candles.
You are invited to have four candles near you to light during the service. They can be Advent candles on an Advent wreath, or any four candles. You can even light and relight the same candle four times!
The Men’s Advent Gathering is an opportunity to rest in divine love and notice God’s movement in our lives and world at this sacred time of the year.
Feel free to invite any friends, family members, co-workers, and neighbors who identify as men.
