Join us for this frank and open discussion lead by WCC member, LeAnn Pope. After a long legal career, LeAnn retired from the legal profession to pursue a Master of Theology from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, which she completed in 2020. LeAnn’s master thesis—entitled From Colorblind to Clearer Vision: A White Christian’s Unexpected Journey toward Redemption—is the culmination of four years of extensive study regarding race, racism and privilege and an honest reflection on her own clouded views on racism, held for decades.
“Why is it so hard for white folks to talk about racism?”
