The Story of Plastic – Movie Screening via Zoom | Registration required

November 9, 2020 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

The Story of Plastic takes a sweeping look at the human-made crisis of plastic pollution and the worldwide effect it has on the health of our planet and its inhabitants. Spanning three continents, the film illustrates the ongoing catastrophe – fields full of garbage, veritable mountains of trash, rivers and seas clogged with waste, and skies choked with the poisonous emissions from plastic production and processing. The film is presented by The Story of Stuff Project, a nonprofit dedicated to changing the way that we make, use, and throw away Stuff so that it is more sustainable, healthy, and fair. To learn more, visit www.storyofstuff.org.

We will start our screening together in a Zoom meeting at 6:30pm. At approximately 6:45, we will turn off our Zoom videos (but not leave the meeting) and watch The Story of Plastic film through the link below on our own. We will then reconvene on Zoom around 8:15pm for a post-screening discussion.

Free registration on Zoom; required to get screening link
