Advent is a time to pause, reflect, and open to God’s coming (“advent”) in Christ. The Women and Men’s Advent Gathering is a chance to rest in divine love and notice God’s movement in our lives and world at this sacred time of the year.
Join us for the Women and Men’s Advent Gathering in-person in the chancel area of the sanctuary or on Zoom – your choice!
The Gathering includes silence, the singing of Advent carols, prayers, scripture, and the lighting of the Advent candles (if joining us by Zoom, you are invited to have four candles near you to light during the service).
The Gathering also offers a time of reflection and healing for those for whom the season is difficult and who may have experienced loss this year.
Invite friends, family members, co-workers, and neighbors. All women and men of the congregation are welcome to attend. Youth, too! After the Gathering, we will assemble in Tolman Hall for food and fellowship.
