Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent, comes early this year – and it’s on Valentine’s Day! Ashes symbolize our human condition and need for God’s grace. Ash Wednesday is both “Oh, Lord!” and “Thank you, Jesus!” – a confession of our distress and an opening to God’s healing and forgiveness. There will be a service at noon in the Little Chapel.
